![]() There’s also Qi2 charger support for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14, which haven’t had it until now. Similar to NameDrop (which is entirely secure, despite the furor that arose last week about it), you can now share boarding passes or movie tickets just by bringing two iPhones together. Typing messages, or anything else, is updated so you can turn off predictions inline, although personally I love that feature. There are improvements to Messages, including body shape customization in your Memoji, stickers to add to messages as reactions, and security improvements to protect against spyware. ![]() You can now set it to Translate, making it easy to have conversations in foreign languages without even having to open an app. These videos will play back in 3D on the headset-I’ve seen these videos on the headset, and they look amazing-but just regular 2D on the iPhone.Īlso on the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max only, there’s a new shortcut for the Action button, which replaced the Mute/Ring slider of previous iPhones. ![]() With this update you can shoot spatial video on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Talking of integration, with this release Apple AAPL has added the capability to shoot video in a particular way that will integrate with Apple’s next big product category, the Apple Vision Pro headset. It’s designed to help improve your wellbeing and is stunningly integrated into the iPhone, all securely encrypted to help your private entries stay for your eyes only. Chief among these is the new Journal app, which helps you write about the stuff that’s happening to you. That might be your problem.Unlike the last couple of updates, which were all about bug fixes and security measures, iOS 17.2 has lots of new features as well as the customary bug-squishing effects. I just noticed: you are running iOS 14.3 which has some serious core midi issues. SWAM AU, Audiobus and iRealpro have no trouble running together. never seen that in the options.Īnd you are probably right, jblock, that the AU operability is not a priority for the irealpro people but it would be so good for us keyboard/wind controller players jamming along happily with our said:Īnd you are probably right, jblock, that the AU operability is not a priority for the irealpro people but it would be so good for us keyboard/wind controller players jamming along happily with our headphones!! I'm not sure what you meant by "allow background audio"?. I understand now the difference between standalone and AU swam and have tried both. Anyway, happy for now with the magellan being able to be used in the background behind irealpro (thanks to audiobus). Standalones be works as usual, just not in background to anything yet. Funnily I can see midi activity being registered in the AU interface but no sound (checked physical volume controls & mixer). and yet I have no usb audio attached, just headphones out of the ipad. then opening AU swam from within audiobus I find I get no sound produced at all from SWAM. I'm still having trouble with SWAM background play, even with care to start with "blank slate" (all apps closed and ipad restart). Thanks, espiegel, for letting me know you have made it work. Maybe you are loading the SWAM standalone and not the AU? If that is the case, you need to turn background audio on in it. Here is SWAM Trumpet loaded as an AU in Audiobus with the Sensel Morph playing SWAM Trumpet while iRealPro is in the foreground (works in the background, too). It sounds like something might be misconfigured. IRealPro and SWAM loaded into Audiobus can be used at the same time. But wondering whether there is something I'm missing? Surely two iPads and a mixer not required in 2021! I am aware that the problem would probably vanish if iRealpro offered AU/IAA compatibility and the problem lies with this app. I resort to using a separate device and small stereo line mixer (not ideal for on-the-go) Without using audiobus, irealpro audio dominates, multitasking sidebar is the same, so I'm thankful for the solution using audiobus.Ī problem comes with SWAM instruments which are Audio units, I load ewi and swam AU but then when I switch to irealpro the swam is not usable. Loading Ewi5000 midi/Magellan audio into audiobus seems to allow me to switch to irealpro and be able to play along with it (even though irealpro not visible to audiobus, non-AU?). Hi, been having a blast noodling with EWI and a very expressive saw patch in Magellan (mkirino01)/ iPadOS 14.3/Audiobus/irealpro.
